"Safe Sea" - Safety equipment
The new safety regulation approved by DM n.478 5.10.1999 to make the
sailor more responsible, in the light of the prescriptions of the 94/25/CE
Directive with reference to construction and sale of pleasure crafts
with the CE mark.
Rescue and the safety equipment to be kept on board are not fully defined
in these regulations and provisions, thus it is the responsibility
of the captain of the unit to furnish the vessel with further instruments,
marine and safety equipment that are not expressly mandatory, but might
be deemed necessary for safe sailing.
