You can practise this sport in the daytime hours and in good weather
and sea conditions.
The distance from the coast must be:
- at least 200 meters from the bathymetrical line (depth of the sea)
of 1.60 m where the coast is sandy;
- at least 100 meters from rocky coasts
- the distance between you and the boat that pulls you must not be
less than 12 meters;
- the driver must always have a boating license even when the size
of the motor doesn’t require it. On board, besides the driver,
must be another person, expert in swimming;
- The unit must have the safety equipment prescribed by the regulations
relating to the distance from the coast where the water skiing is done.
It must also have a hooking and towing system and a large convex rear-mirror.
