Remember to:
- Always wear a life belt;
- Use the special launch corridors;
- Respect, during navigation, the limits imposed by the regulations of the local Capitaneria di Porto;
- Inform family or friends about the navigation you’re intending to carry out, indicating the expected re-entry time.

Don’t sail to long before the wind or in the same direction if you are inexpert or if you don’t know the various rates;

If you’re unable to return, leave the sail in the water in order to slow down the leeway, and lying on the board, try to catch the attention of others and wait for rescue.
